Common Questions and Concerns:
Q: Will my employer know that I contacted you?
A: All calls are confidential and protected by the attorney-client privilege. There is no obligation or pressure to pursue a case.
Q: How much does it cost to inquire about a potential case?
A: Initial consultations are always free.
Q: Can my employer retaliate against me for pursuing my rights?
A: The law prohibits retaliation and if you file a lawsuit and are retaliated against for it, we will immediately notify the court to seek protection. In our experience, most employers know that retaliating against their employees hurts their case and as a result do not retaliate against their employees.
Q. What if I no longer work for the company that failed to pay me properly?
A: That is OK. Under the law, home health workers can recover unpaid wages from current employers as well as former employers going back three years.
Q: What if I don't live near your office?
A: We handle cases across the country. Someone from our team can travel to you if necessary.
